1. Regular checks

Since it is an outdoor LED display, we need to check whether it is corroded and rusted by the environment and whether the whole is missing. And whether the led modules mask has fallen off and been replaced, etc.
2) The internal components and steel structure of the outdoor LED display cabinet
If you live in a coastal area and encounter natural disasters such as severe typhoons or tsunamis, you need to check the stability and safety of the LED screen more than in other areas, especially the small parts of the external steel structure.
Whether the lock and connection between the LED displays are loose.
Check whether the internal electronic components and wires are aged or bitten by animals. If a mouse bites the cables, you can put rodenticide on the electronic control and outside the cabinet to prevent the electronic equipment from being bitten again.
Whether the inside of the LED box is corroded by moisture.
Whether the interior is parasitic by small organisms such as insects.
If peeling or rusting occurs, the engineer should spray anti-rust paint in time.
Check for leaks during the rainy season.
3) Inspection of lightning protection facilities
Regularly check the lightning rod and grounding wire for aging and breakage. If damaged, it must be replaced in time. Generally, it is more accurate to test after a thunderstorm.
4) Inspection of the control system
All circuit equipment of the large led screen should be checked regularly to ensure the normal operation and safety of the system.
5) Inspection of the power supply system
First, you need to check whether the circuit connection in the electric box is rusted or loose, whether the grounding of the electric box must be normal, and whether the power supply circuit is normal.

2. Regular cleaning
When the outdoor LED display is used for some time, the visual viewing effect of the LED display will be affected by the influence of the external environment. The most intuitive thing is dust.

Suppose it is determined that the dirt on the surface of the LED display is relatively thick. In that case, we need to hire a professional cleaning team because cleaning the LED display is a high-altitude operation, which is purely dangerous.
The professional cleaning team will use the high-altitude sling method (commonly known as Spider-Man). ) or hanging blue, equipped with professional cleaning equipment. According to the different dirt on the screen, the cleaning staff selects different cleaning agents for targeted cleaning to ensure that the LED tube and the mask are not damaged.

Vacuum: first, suck the dirt and dust off the surface of the display mask.
Wet wash: be careful not to spray the lotion directly on the screen, but spray a little cleaning liquid on the cleaning cloth and then wipe gently in the same direction. You can also scrub the lampshade with a soft brush on the vacuum cleaner to remove dirt.
Drying: use a vacuum cleaner to remove watermarks left after wet cleaning to ensure that the display mask is clean and dust-free.

3. Hardware and software maintenance

4. Temperature regulation
The LED display will generate heat when it works again; if the heat dissipation is not good, it can easily cause internal electronic failures and fire.
Therefore, it is necessary to keep the cabinet open to maintain heat dissipation. There is a cooling fan in the outdoor LED cabinet, which can adapt to most environments.
However, if you are in a high-temperature environment all year round or an environment with a temperature of minus 20 degrees Celsius and heavy humidity in winter, you need to install air conditioning equipment to keep the temperature in the box between 10 degrees and 35 degrees, which is conducive to extending the LED life of the display.
5. Check the power supply
Some people call the “heart” of the LED display when the power supply is used. To avoid the overloaded work of the “heart”, you need to know the following:
Thunderstorm weather is prohibited.
Please do not display and play for more than 30 minutes in a state of ultra-high brightness. Monochromatic all-white, all-red, all-green, all-blue screen playback will cause the power cord to heat up too quickly and damage the lamp beads.
6. Use it properly
1) On and off switching
Do you know? The switches of the outdoor LED display are in order, which can better protect the LED display and prolong its life.
Power on: You need to turn on the huge outdoor LED display first and then turn on the computer to run normally.
Shutdown: You need to turn off the outdoor LED display first and then turn off the computer.
The interval between power on and power off is at least 1 minute.
7. Work with professionals
“Professional things are handed over to professional people, and the efficiency is higher.”
If there is a problem with the internal wiring of the outdoor LED display or other issues, for the sake of safety, please ask professionals to repair it as soon as possible, and non-professionals are prohibited from touching it to avoid damage such as electric shock.

8. Usage frequency
The two situations of long-term use and non-use of the LED display are not conducive to its maintenance.
If you often use the LED display, you can set a time; for example, when there is less traffic between 1:00 and 5:00 at night, we can turn it off.
If the LED display is not used frequently, then we can reach these minimum usage standard frequencies, such as:
During the rainy season, it should be turned on and used at least once a week, and each playback’s display time should be less than 2 hours.
In a high temperature and humid environment, if the LED display is not used for more than 3 days, please preheat the screen first: preheat at 30%-50% brightness for 4-8 hours, and then increase it to normal brightness (80%-50% brightness) 100%), if the LED screen has not been used for more than 7 days, preheat the screen first: preheat at 30%-50% brightness for more than 12 hours, and then increase to normal brightness (80%-100%), this purpose It is to remove moisture from the environment.
